Description
This is a mural painting I did in 2017 in the Central Hall of the Municipal Hospital in my home town, Campina, part of personal "Life and Color" pro bono project. It is painted with wall paint mixed with blue and golden- copper colored pigments and glazed with satin, the wall size is 5,40m/2,50m. This painting is inspired by Gustav Klimt "The Tree of Life".
I wrote at that time:
"We are born from the golden rain. Fruits of the love between Earth and Fire. Unpolished sparkles. In flowers and fruits we are perfected. Our life - a tree. With branches gathering, with branches giving. With branches born from roots deep in millennial memories and moments. Moments that we miss perfection. We are Trees, Branches first. Wavy, looking for water to cement the sand from the roots. Looking for dew to find the ascent to blue easier. We are every leaf, every season. We are our fruits and their seeds".
