Description
Turkish coffee is very finely ground coffee brewed by boiling. Any coffee bean may be used, but arabica varieties are considered best.
The coffee may be ground at home in a manual grinder made for the very fine grind, ground to order by coffee merchants in most parts of the world, or bought ready-ground from many shops.
Coffee and water, usually with added sugar, is brought to the boil in a special pot called cezve in Turkey, and often called ibrik elsewhere. As soon as the mixture begins to froth, and before it boils over, it is taken off the heat; it may be briefly reheated twice more to increase the desired froth.
The coffee is traditionally served in a small porcelain cup, painted with Turkish traditional motives.
Turkish coffee is more than a drink; it is a ritual, a sense of being. ... And I adore it!

Amalia, this is GORGEOUS! The designs of the cups and saucers are so intricate and beautiful!…I agree, there is something about a brew served ritually and with intention to serve, to love, to pause and acknowledge one’s and another’s BEing that is spiritually uplifting. That is how I feel about my daily Tea practice served in fine china. Fav…best to you

You melded impressionism and realism perfectly and I think, for some, hard to do. Love the beauty of the colors and theme and I can smell the fresh coffee, wonderful!!! :D L/F
