Description
Winter hasn't even passed and I'm thinking about spring flowers, tulips are among my favorites.
Although tulips, in general, symbolize love, yellow tulips symbolize joy, hope, and happiness. These bright-petaled flowers are often synonymous with sunshine and cheerfulness and this makes me wait for spring.
I find Tulips very interesting to draw, their shapes change from hour to hour, in a continuous dance.
In general, in this painting, I used primary tempera colors. The contrasting background brought out the bright yellow of the tulips.
